We trained:
1) Reaction Timing - counter attack before the opponents attack has matured.
2) Building the bridge, walking over the bridge, destroying the bridge vs Straight, Hook & Uppercut.
3) Single parallel and single cross arm grabs - Occupy the time = Punch first, think second!, Step away from the threat using our optimum body positioning (45 Degree step), then escape the grab and follow, finish by Destroying the bridge - collapse the opponents structure and then take down.
4) Energy transfer - we worked on the... Element of Water - Dropping the weight using relaxed dead weight power, without adding from the body = (not pushing force = Fire), using our spiralling impulse power method upon contact to send the power back into the opponent.
We have a Beginners Official Test in 2 weeks so we will have a short mini test next week in preparation.
Please make sure that if you are wanting to pass this test and receive our Official level 1 Orientation Certificate that you attend next week.
