We started with the basic HKB character 2 Clamping Yang (forward facing) stance (Nji Ci Bhok Yang Bhe).
Then we focused on the 3 dimensional (X.Y.Z) striking, finding the circle within a straight line (clockwise and anticlockwise spiral), we practiced with the standard push engine using brute force and then with the HKB impulse power for bridging and then to control/dominate the structural space.
Next we connecting the concept to all our hand techniques (Yin and Yang) to make an endless circle (figure of eight). When used alongside the correct upper and lower triangle structure you can control the opponents centre effortlessly!. (Note, be sure not to force the elbow onto the Yin line as this will cause tension i.e. giving the centre)
We started with how to use the HKB Yin downward force (White Tiger comes down from the mountain) and HKB Yang upward (Green Dragon fly's to heaven). We next connected them and reversed the process creating 2 endless circle of energy.
At this point we worked on HKB sticky Hands and how to apply the Circling energy against horizontal and vertical planes and then with some different energies: Throw, Absorb, Push, Pull, Sink and Float in different variations.
We didn't get to finish all of this subject, so I'm looking forward to finish this and move onto the next subject at our next Instructor meeting.
Special Thanks again to Sifu Lin for passing on his knowledge.
